Wymagania:
* PhD student status in the social sciences or related field
* Ability to conduct research using ethnographic methods (interviews) and/or document/discourse analysis
* Documented research interests in education and/or new technologies
* Preliminary idea for research within the framework of the program
* Sufficient command of English to work in an international scientific team (B2+)
Required documents:
* Motivation letter in Polish or English (Up to 1 page)
* CV highlighting skills relevant for the position
* Short (up to 300 words) description of a research idea pertaining to the project
* Confirmation of language skills (courses or certificates confirming the knowledge of English / if no certificate can be provided, the level of English competence will be tested during the interview)
* A signed consent form related to the processing of personal data

The interviews will be held on June 15-16, 2023 (subject to change). Applications will be evaluated by the Committee established by the director of the project. The Committee has the right to invite the selected candidates for an interview. The decision regarding the position will be made by June 19, 2023.

OPUS LAP EDUCAT(H)UM „Education at the Frontiers of the Human: The Challenge of New Technologies”, 2021/43/I/HS6/00848
The project seeks to understand how new technologies, especially ICTs, influence education. In the proposed research, we decided to ask three main questions: (1) Who is the subject that today’s educational policies and practices – shaped, as they are, by new technologies – seek to produce?; (2) By what means do they seek to do so?; (3) To what end do they work, i.e., what kind of community do they envisage? Based in Slovenia and Poland, EDUCAT(H)UM is an interdisciplinary project combining theory of education, discourse and document analysis, and ethnographic fieldwork (interviews and focus groups with teachers).
