Nazwa stanowiska: PhD student
Wymagania:
• status of a doctoral student at the beginning of participation in the project and during the implementation of tasks in the project,
• completed master's studies in the field of physics, chemistry, materials engineering or related fields,
• basic knowledge of surface physics and chemistry,
• knowledge of English in speech and writing,
• commitment and strong motivation to conduct scientific research,
• ability to work independently and in a team.
• experience with Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) systems will be considered a strong asset.
As part of the research tasks in the OPUS 23 project entitled "Epitaxial silicene as a platform for hydrogen storage in the solid phase" the scholarship holder will be required to:
• topography and spectroscopy measurements using a scanning tunneling microscope.

The remuneration is paid in the form of a research scholarship from October 1, 2024 for 36 months (PLN 4,000/month).

1) CV or scientific curriculum vitae, including previous scientific achievements or work experience in other research projects,
2) cover letter,
3) confirmation of obtaining a master's degree or confirmation of the status of a doctoral student,
4) the opinion and consent of the doctoral thesis supervisor to participate in research in the indicated project or the opinion of the current scientific supervisor,
5) a statement of knowledge of the English language or a certificate.
