Nazwa stanowiska: Postdoctoral Researcher
Wymagania:
The competition is open for persons who meet the conditions specified in the regulations on the allocation ofresources for the implementation of tasks financed by the National Science Centre for OPUS 18 grant.
Candidates should have a PhD degree in computer science, mathematics or a similar domain, related to AI/ML or their applications (we may also consider candidates just finishing PhD, but the degree must be obtained before the date of employment in the project).
Requirements:
- PhD degree in computer science, mathematics or a similar domain, related to AI/ML or their applications
- research experience in AI/ML related to the scope of the project, confirmed by scientific publications, patents, conference talks or posters, etc.
Ranking list would be based on:
- academic achievements, i.e. scientific publications, patents, conference talks and posters, etc.
- research experience, i.e. participation in scientific projects, organization/participation in scientific workshops,research collaborations, etc.
- competences related to the scope of the project, i.e. experience in deep learning and machine learning research ortheir applications
The following will be considered an asset:
- knowledge of research problems in artificial and computational intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and data science
- knowledge of techniques of machine learning and deep learning, including implementation issues, programming frameworks, etc.
- knowledge of probability and statistics
- knowledge of recommender systems (collaborative filtering RS and session-based RS) and/or hidden states models (HMM, SLDS and extensions) and/or spatiotemporal data segmentation
- knowledge of self- and semi-supervised learning
- coding skills, especially in Python or R, including programming frameworks for AI/ML
- knowledge of deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
- experience in managing, leading or participating in research projects
- supervision of younger collegues or students
I am looking for a post-doc to work on computational intelligence, machine learning and/or deep learning approaches for discovering latent data structure and some their applications. In particular, in the tasks related to recommender systems or hidden state models or spatiotemporal data segmentation.
Tasks will include:
- conducting research on computational intelligence, machine learning and/or deep learning approaches for discovering latent data structure and some their applications, especially related to recommender systems or hidden state models or spatiotemporal data segmentation
- publishing the results in scientific publications and/or them presenting on scientific conferences
- participating in academic discussions and meetings concerning the project
- collaborating with other researchers and students involved in the project (on site, in the Institute of ComputerScience, University of Wroclaw, Poland)
