Nazwa stanowiska: Post-doc
Wymagania:
1. PhD in electronics, optics, physics or related discipline obtained no more than 7 years before starting the post-doc position in the project.
2. Experience in the development of pulsed laser sources utilizing bulk optics based and fiber components.
3. Knowledge of nonlinear optical processes required for optical frequency conversion.
4. Experience in conducting research with various laboratory equipment.
5. English - advanced oral and written.
6. Motivation to work in a multidisciplinary research team and ability to cooperate with team members co-performing planned research tasks.
7. Experience in working with Matlab, Origin.
The post-doc will perform the research tasks planned under the project „Research on utilizing microstructured antiresonant hollow-core fibers and optical frequency combs for application in broadband molecular spectroscopy in the mid-infrared spectral range” under the supervision of Dr. Piotr Jaworski.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and development of optical frequency comb sources based on bulk optics and fiber components in the near-IR spectral band.
2. Design and development of an optical frequency comb source based on nonlinear optical processes generated in a PPLN waveguide for mid-IR wavelength band.
3. Experimental data analysis.
4. Preparation of research manuscripts and conference presentations.
5. Help with purchasing research equipment and materials.
6. Help with supervision of the PhD student involved in the realization of the project.

Warunki zatrudnienia:
Employment based on an employment contract. Salary of PLN 140000 gross-gross per year (including "13th" pay). Employment for 12 months with the possibility of extending the employment period.
Starting date: 01.06.2025 (this date can be changed if needed).
