Nazwa stanowiska: Post-doc
Wymagania:
- PhD degree in theoretical or mathematical physics ;
- Having relevant scientific achievements;
- Taking active part in scientific life;
Knowledge in:
- Fundamental aspects of the holographic principle, modified gravity and/or area metrics
- Quantum-information aspects of holography, such as entanglement entropy and complexity measures
- Applications of AdS/CFT to condensed matter theory and quantum field theory
- Numerical techniques used in holography (e.g., numerical solution of partial differential equations)
A candidate for the post-doctoral position must hold a PhD degree awarded no earlier than seven years before the year of employment in the project. This period may be extended by the duration of documented long-term (over 90 days) sick leave or rehabilitation benefits taken during this time due to incapacity for work. Additionally, this period may be extended by the number of months spent on leave related to childcare, granted under the provisions of the Polish Labour Code. In the case of women, 18 months per child may be added, if this method of accounting for career breaks is more beneficial.
To be eligible for the post-doctoral position, the candidate must have obtained their PhD degree from an institution other than the one where employment in the project is planned, or must have completed at least a 10-month continuous and documented post-doctoral fellowship at an institution other than the one implementing the project and in a country other than the one in which the PhD degree was awarded.
Research and computations in quantum-information aspects of the AdS/CFT correspondence and its applications to condensed matter physics and quantum field theory. Cooperation with PhD students and the PI. Dissemination of the results in international peer reviewed journals and conference or seminar talks. Assistance in grant administration.
