Wymagania:
Requirements for the candidate:
• Master's degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or related field
• Good knowledge of basics of molecular and cell biology
• Basic hands-on experience in at least one of the fields: molecular biology, protein biochemis-try, protein activity assays
• Knowledge of the structural biology methods will be an advantage
• Written and spoken fluency in English
• Willingness to learn and take new challenges, ability to work independently, analytical thinking
• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
As a PhD student, your responsibilities will include the purification of proteins and their biochemical characterization (including activity assays with nucleic acids), the preparation of samples for structural biology methods (cryo-EM and crystallography), the determination of macromolecular structures and their analysis, the design of experiments to test the elucidated mechanisms, and the preparation of manuscripts describing the results.

1. Full-time PhD scholarship 4 years (8 semesters) in amount:
a) before the mid-term evaluation 5500 pln net/month;
b) after mid-term evaluation 6000 pln net/month
