Nazwa stanowiska: Doctoral Scholarship
Wymagania:
•The candidate must have the official status of a PhD student.
•Master’s degree in physics or mathematics.
•Experience in at least one of the following domains: quantum field theory, general relativity, cosmology.
•Experience in Mathematica and numerical techniques is an added bonus.
•Very good oral and written communication skills in English.
•Research within the NCN Sonata BIS project “Gravity and Field Theory at the Classical-Quantum Interface”. A brief project description can be found through the link below.
•New research team lead by dr George Zahariade (principal investigator), including dr Omkar Shetye (postdoctoral scholar) and dr Chunshan Lin (co-investigator).

Warunki zatrudnienia:
•A monthly net scholarship of minimum 2000 PLN is paid on top of the scholarship from the Doctoral School.
•The scholarship is granted for one year starting on 1 January 2026 and can be extended till 30.03.2029.
•Generous research expense budget including travel allowance for conferences and scientific visits, and personal computing equipment.

•Academic CV including information on education and scientific activities, list of publications, presentations at conferences and seminars.
•Document confirming PhD student status, and Master’s diploma.
•Motivation letter explaining the candidate’s interest in this project.
