Profile of candidates/requirements:
- PhD degree in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry or related discipline fields of life sciences (the title obtained not earlier than in 2014 – this is a requirement of the grant funder and the given period can be extended by maternity or other long-term, justified leaves),
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning, performing and analyzing experiments,
- Presenting results at internal and external meetings/conferences,
- Preparing manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.

About the job:
IMol invites highly motivated scientists to apply for a three years, fully-funded Postdoc position.
This very innovative project aims at investigating how a proto-metabolism may have arisen at the origin of life. Using a bottom-up approach recently established in our lab, you will have the chance to set up a system capable of generating a membrane potential and to devise a strategy to use such a potential to drive (bio)chemical reactions.
