Nazwa stanowiska: Post-doc
Wymagania:
1. PhD in electronics, optics, physics or related discipline obtained no more than 7 years before starting the post-doc position in the project.
2. Experience in working with both bulk-optics- and fiber-based experimental setups for laser-based gas sensing.
3. Experience in working with fiber-based laser sources.
4. Experience in conducting research with various laboratory equipment.
5. Experience in the area of and knowledge of hollow-core photonic crystal fibers will be a plus.
6. English - advanced oral and written.
7. Motivation to work in a multidisciplinary research team and ability to cooperate with team members co-performing planned research tasks.
8. Experience in working with Matlab, Origin.
The post-doc will perform the research tasks planned under the project „Research on utilizing microstructured antiresonant hollow-core fibers and optical frequency combs for application in broadband molecular spectroscopy in the mid-infrared spectral range” under the supervision of Dr. Piotr Jaworski.
Responsibilities:
1. Development and characterization of the experimental setups for gas sensing utilizing mid-IR optical frequency combs and gas-filled antiresonant hollow-core fibers.
2. Experimental data analysis.
3. Preparation of research manuscripts and conference presentations.
4. Help with purchasing research equipment and materials.
5. Help with supervision of the PhD student involved in the realization of the project.

Warunki zatrudnienia:
Salary of PLN 140000 gross-gross annually (including "13th" pay). Employment for initial period of 6 months with the possibility of extension to 15 months in total. The earliest possible starting date is 01.04.2026.
