Wymagania:
Profile of candidates/requirements:
- The applicant must have a PhD in a relevant area and a documented publication record. PhD degree obtained not earlier than 2018 (this is a grant requirement – this period can be increased by documented health or maternity-related leaves).
- Experience in molecular and cell biology is required.
- Experience in conducting experiments using mammalian tissue cell culture system is required.
- Experience in basic biochemistry techniques, such as SDS-PAGE and Western Blot, is required.
- Prior experience in fluorescence microscopy and live cell imaging is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to proteomics and bioinformatics would be an advantage.
- Strong motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Candidates should have strong communicative skills (fluent spoken and written English), Polish is a plus.
- Enjoy working in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and performing experiments.
- Keeping a record of experimental details.
- Data analysis, interpretation and discussion.
- Presenting results at internal and external meetings/conferences.
- Preparing manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
- Active participation in the research conducted in the lab.

The Laboratory of Lipids and Chronobiology led by Dr. Abdelhalim Azzi is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher. The position is fully funded from the National Science Center, NCN Poland. Our lab is interested in understanding the role of phosphoinositide 5-phosphatases in cell signalling. Knockout and mutagenesis models will be developed to study the role of the functional activity and adaptor function of these enzymes in cellular signalling.
