Requirements:
- master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, biotechnology,
- knowledge about techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry and microbiology,
- experience in plasmid and chromosomal DNA isolation, protein purification, immunoblotting,
- documented scientific achievements including publications,
- good knowledge of spoken and written English.
Description of tasks:
- Alanine substitutions of Q47, L90 and F92 amino acid residues of TesD and purification of
such mutant proteins.
- measurement of changes in fatty acid composition when TesD variants Q47A, L90A and F92A are overproduced, particularly with respect to their acyl chain lengths.
- participating in data analysis and interpretation of results.

Scholarship agreement for a period up to 8 months (start date: 01.03.2026)
Scholarship amount - 3000 PLN/month (gross).

The candidate must meet all requirements indicated for PhD position on awarding funding for research tasks funded by the National Science Centre as regards research projects. The successful candidate will be selected by a committee chaired by the project leader.
