Conditions for entering the competition:
a) the competition can be entered by a person who does not have a doctoral degree and, meet one of the following criteria:
b) be a student of: first-cycle, second-cycle or uniform Master's studies, implemented at universities in the territory of Poland
c) be a current/prospective student at the doctoral school of the University of Warsaw
d) (if prospective student) will be required to be enrolled at the doctoral school of the University of Warsaw prior the commencement of this position
a) Academic background in Bioarchaeology or related field
b) Knowledge of human skeletal anatomy and bioarcheological methods (i.e., ageing, sexing, stature estimation, palaeopathological conditions)
c) Be willing to take part in extended fieldwork in Sudan and post-excavation analyses of burial contexts and associated human skeletal remains
d) Be fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Polish and Arabic will be considered as an additional benefit

Warunki zatrudnienia:
Duration of the scholarship : up to 15 months with a possibility to extend until 28 months
A monthly project scholarship of PLN 5000,00
