Profile of candidates/requirements:
- Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry or related discipline. PhD degree obtained not earlier than 2019 (this is a grant requirement – this period can be increased by documented health or maternity-related leaves),
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning, performing and analyzing experiments,
- Presenting results at internal and external meetings/conferences,
- Preparing manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.

About the job:
Using our unique, state-of-the-art reconstitution techniques, this project aims at the bottom-up reconstitution and functional characterization of the viral pore formed by the SARS-Cov-2 transmembrane proteins nsp3 and nsp4. Such pore is a unique molecular machine able to transport viral RNA across a catenoid-shaped membrane neck.
