Wymagania:

- M.Sc. in Electronics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or Chemistry with specialization in computational materials science, specifically DFT and MD simulations for thermal transport and phase transformation analysis.
- Experience in correlating experimental thermal processes with theoretical predictions, including laser-induced structural modifications and resistive heating effects.
- Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., VASP, LAMMPS, Quantum ESPRESSO or related).
- Experience in laboratory work and participation in scientific projects.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Independence, reliability, and excellent self-organization skills.

Opis zadań:

- Computational simulations by DFT and MD of diaphite formation and their interactions: electrical and electrochemical.
- Modeling of thermal transport and phase transformations in diaphite nanostructures.
- Correlation of simulation results with experimental data obtained within the project.
- Analysis and interpretation of computational data, elaboration of results, and co-authorship of scientific publications in English.

Warunki zatrudnienia:

- Scholarship grantee/Student/PhD student_2 within the project "Simulation-informed engineering of heteroatom-doped diaphite nanostructures for microelectronic power applications" OPUS-28 (LAP), No. UMO-2024/55/I/ST7/02363.
- Scholarship duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension.
- Start date: 1 May 2026.
- Scholarship amount: PLN 3,000.00 gross per month.
