Wymagania:
The competition is open for persons who meet the conditions specified in the regulations on the allocation of resources for the implementation of tasks financed by the National Science Centre for OPUS 29 grant.
MSc degree in chemistry, physics, biology or related discipline. The MSc degree should be obtained before the date of employment in the project.
Confirmed status of a PhD student at the time of starting the employment. The stipend can be paid only after the person has acquired the PhD student status.
We are looking for motivated PhD students with the ability to communicate in English in speech and writing (at C1 certificate level), team work skills, and independent thinking. Interests in organic chemistry, specifically peptide chemistry and solid phase peptide synthesis, as well as in microbiology will be beneficial.
- synthesis of peptides and peptidomimetics with noncanonical amino acids and chemical stabilization of peptides
- circular dichroism and fluorescence spectroscopy experiments
- microbiology experiments
- preparing reports, manuscript drafts, presenting results at internal meetings and national or international conferences

Warunki zatrudnienia:
Job type: Stipend / Stipend amount/month: up to 5000 PLN gross/gross per month in the first 2 years and up to 6500 PLN gross/gross in the 3rd year / Position starts on: 1st of October 2026 or earlier if the candidate already holds an MSc. / Maximum period of contract/stipend agreement: 36 months with a possibility of extension up to 39 months.
