Wymagania:

1) A master's degree (or equivalent) in chemistry awarded before the position's start date.
2) Practical experience in organic synthesis and characterization of organic compounds (NMR, MS).
3) Expertise in liquid crystals will be considered an advantage.
4) High motivation and a strong interest in basic science.
5) Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Opis zadań:

1) Synthesis of switches and molecular motors as dopants for liquid crystals.
2) Synthesis of liquid-crystalline mesogens.
3) Characterization of the obtained organic compounds.
4) Participation in research on doping, characterization, calibration, and irradiation of liquid crystals (LCs).
5) Involvement in the preparation of scientific publications.
6) Presentation of results at international conferences.
7) Supervision of students.

Warunki zatrudnienia:

- Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension (up to 36 months total) based on performance.
- Salary (stipend): 5.000 PLN per month.

For candidates admitted to the Doctoral School within the applicable admission limits and awarded a doctoral scholarship, remuneration will be paid without social security deductions. For candidates admit-ted outside the admission limits, remuneration will be subject to social security deductions.

Evaluation criteria:
1) Relevance of education and professional experience to the position profile.
2) Academic and publication record.
3) Candidate’s performance during the interview.

The top candidates will be invited for an interview, which will take place in mid-September (interview invitations will be sent via email by 06.09.2026).
The results of the competition will be communicated to shortlisted candidates by email by 20.09.2026.
