Requirements for the candidate:
1. MSc degree or equivalent in animal science, ecology, biology or similar (or obtaining such degree by September 30, 2026);
2. High motivation for scientific work;
3. Fluency in English speech and writing;
4. Strong interest in developmental biology and neuroscience;
5. Openness to work with mice (including euthanasia);
6. Knowledge and skills in the use of laboratory techniques is welcome, particularly experience with histological methods;
7. Familiarity with fundamental neuroscience concepts is welcome but not essential;
8. General competences - good organization of work, including the ability to work independently as well as working in an interdisciplinary research team, creative thinking, precision and conscientiousness.

Research topic: Cerebral and behavioural lateralization in early life development of mice
Description of tasks:
The candidate will study and work in a highly multidisciplinary and international environment. The project will focus on cerebral and behavioural lateralization in mice. The tasks include data collection in Poland, laboratory analyses, data analyses, and writing of scientific publications.
Responsibilities in the project:
- behavioural tests on mice
- laboratory analyses, including histology
- data analyses
- writing of scientific publications
- participation in scientific conferences
Conditions of employment:
Gross salary: 5000 PLN/month
