Wymagania:

Requirements for the candidate:
1. MSc degree or equivalent in animal science, ecology, biology or similar (or obtaining such degree by September 30, 2026);
2. High motivation for scientific work;
3. Fluency in English speech and writing;
4. Strong interest in animal behaviour. Experience with pigs or sheep is a pre;
5. Knowledge and skills in the use of laboratory techniques is welcome;
6. Flexibility and willingness to work in and travel to different countries (Poland, UK);
7. General competences - good organization of work, including the ability to work independently as well as working in an interdisciplinary research team, creative thinking, precision and conscientiousness.

Research topic: Lateralization in early life development and behavioural responses in pigs and sheep.

Opis zadań:

Description of tasks:
The candidate will study and work in a highly multidisciplinary and international environment. The project will focus on behavioural lateralization in pigs and sheep. The tasks include data collection in Poland, data collection from existing videos, data analysis, and writing of scientific publications.
