Nazwa stanowiska: PhD student-scholarship holder
Wymagania:
-Candidates should be PhD students at the Doctoral School of Gdańsk University of Technology or be eligible to undertake doctoral studies at Gdańsk University of Technology.
-Applicants should hold an MSc degree in biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or bioinformatics.
-Willingness to work in a team.
-Good knowledge of English.
-Experience in molecular dynamics or structural biology will be an asset.
Implementation of research tasks within the project entitled “Evolutionary and Structural Basis of the EEVD-Dependent Mechanism of Amyloid Disaggregation driven by J-Proteins”. Preparation, execution, and analysis of molecular dynamics simulations, including enhanced sampling methods, to investigate the structural and dynamic properties of the studied systems. Analysis and interpretation of data obtained from JDP crosslinking experiments, NMR, and cryo-EM, as well as participation in integrative structural model building. Processing and interpretation of structural data in collaboration with the research team. The student will carry out the project under the joint supervision of Jacek Czub and Bartłomiej Tomiczek.

1. Scholarship amount: 2000 PLN per month (net), paid for a period of 3 years.
