1) A PhD degree in chemical sciences, biotechnology, or a related field, awarded no earlier than January 1, 2014 (*)(**).
2) The PhD degree must have been obtained at an institution other than Warsaw University of Technology, or the candidate must have completed at least a 10-month continuous and documented postdoctoral fellowship at an institution other than Warsaw University of Technology and in a country different from the country where the PhD degree was obtained.
3) Experience in the synthesis and characterization of polymeric materials, especially in controlled ring-opening polymerization (ROP) and ionic polymerization techniques, and/or experience in investigating the biological and biophysical properties of polymers, with a particular focus on polymer interactions with lipid bilayers, the use of polymers for gene transfection, and application of polymers in the delivery of API.
4) Documented scientific achievements demonstrated by scientific publications in journals listed in the JCR database.
5) Fluent English, both spoken and written.
6) Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
7) Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently.
(*) In the case of individuals who have obtained more than one PhD degree, the reference date is the date of the first degree awarded.
(**) This period may be extended following the rules set out in the Regulations for awarding funds for tasks financed by National Science Centre within the framework of research projects.
Participation in research activities within the project entitled Molecular Weight of Polymers: An Unresolved Aspect of the Biological Activity of Polyamines, in particular carrying out the following tasks:
• Synthesis and characterization of polymeric materials.
• Biophysical and biological experiments investigating the interactions of polymers with living organisms.
• Analysis of experimental results and preparation of scientific publications.
• Other tasks related to the organization of the research team’s work, e.g. supervision of PhD students and diploma students.
• Type of contract: employment contract.
• Salary: PLN 8 300 – 9 300 gross per month.
• Expected starting date: 2026.10.15 (flexible).
• Employment period: 12 months, with the possibility of extension for the duration of the project.
• During the period of employment, the successful candidate:
o may not receive any other remuneration from funds allocated as direct costs in research projects financed under National Science Centre calls;
o may not be employed under an employment contract with another employer, including an employer based outside Poland;
o may not receive retirement benefits from the social insurance system.

1) a letter of application to the Vice-Rector for General Affairs,
2) a CV,
3) candidate’s personal information form,
4) copy of the diploma of higher education confirming the obtained master’s degree or an equivalent degree,
5) a certified copy of the PhD diploma,
6) a list of research, teaching and organizational output and achievements,
7) other documents certifying additional qualifications,
8) acknowledgement of WUT as a primary place of employment, as defined in the Act of Law on Higher Education and Science,
9) a declaration on:
• the full capacity to perform acts in law,
• enjoying full civil rights,
• not being convicted by a valid sentence for an intentional crime or an intentional tax offence,
• no disciplinary penalty as defined in Article 276 section 1 items 7 and 8 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 being imposed on them
