Profile of candidates/requirements:
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
A deep knowledge in classical analysis is an definite advantage.
A solid background in electrochemistry and material chemistry of nanostructured carbon.
Knowledge of basic electrochemical and spectroscopic techniques.
Experience in inorganic and organometallic synthesis.
CV with a full list of publications, Proof of suitable diploma, Letter of recommendation from previous co-workers or supervisor.
The project will be focused on the application of diazonium fullerene derivatives in the formation of fullerene-based polymers. Polymers will be formed both under electrochemical and chemical conditions. Composites containing fullerene polymers and different carbin nanostructured materials (Catbon nanotubes, graphene, graphene quantum dots) will be also produced. Morphology, spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of these materials will be investigated. Experimental results will be corelated with theoretical investigation.
