Nazwa stanowiska: NCN Scholarship #2 for a candidate to the Doctoral School
Wymagania:
Requirements:
- Completion of master's studies and no current doctoral student status
- Meeting requirements of the UPWr Doctoral School enrolment
MSc in geodesy, astronomy, satellite and space data engineering, or related field.
- Experience in processing satellite data. Good programming skills.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Good record of publications and scientific achievements, including awards and talks at international conferences, will be an asset but is not required.
- Good organization of work.
Main tasks:
Assessment of the NovaMoon contribution to lunar navigation and positioning based on simulated data from the Moonlight and LANS constellations. Assessment of the NovaMoon contribution to the realization of the lunar center-of-mass, tidal displacements, and rotation parameters. Design of the space segment development of the Moonlight constellation (orbit design, perturbation analysis + accuracy of positioning, timing, and navigation), considering NASA and JAXA missions with a proposal of a newly designed supporting mission.
