- is a student of first-cycle, second-cycle, long-cycle (integrated master's), or a PhD student enrolled in a doctoral school or doctoral studies at a university in Poland
- has basic experience in organizing, labeling and maintaining datasets, including experimental imaging data
- has basic programming skills in Python or Matlab, sufficient to implement simple data preprocessing routines
- has basic understanding of the requirements for machine learning datasets, such as format, consistency and quality control
- has a command of English sufficient to conduct scientific work
Research tasks will be defined within the framework of the NCN OPUS project No. 2025/59/B/ST7/02238: "Decomposition of Laguerre-Gaussian modes using deep learning".
Main tasks:
- Organizing and managing numerical and experimental data, ensuring it is accurately labeled and formatted for AI model training
- Collaborating with the research team to maintain data quality and consistency across experimental and numerical workflows
- Preprocessing experimental data, including noise reduction, normalization, and other standard data preparation techniques
- Supporting the development and refinement of datasets for AI model training and validation

- Scholarship: PLN 2,500/month
- Employment period: 12 months, with a possible extension of up to 4 years
- The scholarship holder will be selected through a competition, governed by the Regulations for Awarding NCN Scientific Scholarships in Research Projects Funded by the National Science Centre
