Uprzejmie informujemy o nowych warunkach zatrudniania osób na stanowiska typu post-doc: limit czasu upływającego od uzyskania stopnia doktora dla aplikujących na te stanowiska kobiet może być przedłużony o 1,5 roku za każde urodzone bądź przysposobione dziecko.

Nazwa stanowiska: scholarship grantee: research assistant (2 stanowiska)
Wymagania:
- the status of a student
- a BA or MA in Linguistics, Cognitive Sciences, Psychology, or other relevant field in the Humanities or Social Sciences
- basic knowledge of experimental paradigms in the Humanities and/or Social Sciences, experiment building and execution (experiment building in PsychoPy or similar software; experiment building in XR, e.g., in Unity), collecting and processing video data (cameras with rectilinear and fisheye lenses, video processing in software such as Bandicam + Bandicut)
- basic knowledge of procedures connected with data collection
- a very good command of academic English (at least C1)
- availability onsite (Toruń) during the duration of the project
- experience with any of the following tools will be an additional asset: ELAN, OpenPose, envisionBOX, 3D print (Orca Slicer, UltiMaker Cura, Original Prusa MINI+, Bambu Lab A1 mini), Varjo XR-3 HMD, VR CAVE
- publications and/or conference presentations of research connected with the competences and skills described above
- running experiments: preparation of protocols, building experiments, recruitment of participants, data collection
- participation in preliminary qualitative and quantitative data analysis (with the use of dedicated software)
- participation in the preparation of deliverables (e.g. abstracts, submissions, posters, papers)

Warunki zatrudnienia:
The student will work in the project for 12 months, from October 2026 till the end of September 2027, receiving a scholarship of 3 000 PLN per month with the option to extend.

The research scholarship offered as part of the research project entitled "RIECS: Role of Indexes in Emerging Communication Systems" is financed from funds awarded by the National Science Centre. The Selection Committee reserves the right to contact selected candidates and invite them to take part in a qualifying interview. It is permissible for the competition to conclude without a result being reached. No appeal may be made against the decision of the Scholarship Committee. In view of the provision in the NCN regulations: "An NCN research scholarship may be combined with other scholarships and remuneration financed from NCN funds awarded under more than one research project, provided that the total amount of scholarships and remuneration received does not exceed PLN 5,000 per month," in the case of a doctoral student already receiving remuneration/a scholarship under another NCN project, the scholarship amount will have to be reduced accordingly. The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the Regulations for Awarding NCN Research Scholarships in Research Projects Financed from the Funds of the National Science Centre (Appendix to Resolution No. 25/2019 of the NCN Council of 14 March 2019).
