Wymagania:
We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated early-career researcher with the potential to become a leading scholar in their field over time. Applicants should have:
1. a doctoral degree in Linguistics, Computer Science or related field obtained up to 7 years from the date of employment;
2. expertise in corpus or computational linguistics as attested by a strong record of high-quality research and publication, with clear evidence of intellectual ambition, originality and scholarly independence;
3. excellent command of English; knowledge of Polish and/or Spanish would be considered as a plus;
4. ability to work independently at a high level while contributing collegially and intellectually to a multinational and interdisciplinary research environment;
5. initiative, analytical precision, reliability, and strong organizational skills.

The successful applicant will join an interdisciplinary team spanning computational and corpus linguistics. Their main responsibilities will include:
1. compilation and annotation of corpora of scientific texts;
2. designing and carrying out comparative studies based on the annotated corpora;
3. qualitative results evaluation and interpretation;
4. producing high-quality research outputs;
5. presenting research at international conferences, seminars and other academic forums.
They will also be expected to take an active role in furthering the Institute’s vibrant research environment which offers opportunities for collaboration and networking, not least through our very strong national and international research networks.
