Wymagania:
- Master's degree in physics, astronomy or computer science
- At the beginning of the scholarship in October 2026, the candidate should have the status of a PhD student in the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Łódź
- A solid background in machine learning
- Excellent skills in Python programming - Experience in academic research
- Knowledge of the xspec and pyXspec packages is an advantage
The PhD student will develop machine-learning based models supporting the comparison of astronomical data with theoretical models. The research is part of the MAESTRO 2023/50/A/ST9/00527 project "Dynamics of processes around compact stars"
