Wymagania:
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, or a related field, with strong hands-on expertise in molecular microbiology and biochemistry. Experience with protein expression and purification is an advantage.
The candidate for a post-doc position must be no more than 12 years after obtaining the doctoral degree to be eligible for hiring in a project funded by NCN.(https://www.ncn.gov.pl/sites/default/files/pliki/uchwaly-rady/2025/uchwala72_2025-zal1-2.pdf).
We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a project aiming to validate genomic markers that predict clinical outcomes in bacterial infections. The position combines molecular microbiology and mechanistic experimental work to test and characterise candidate determinants of infection severity, using a well-established insect infection model and links to a large clinical isolate collection.
The position offers the opportunity to work at the interface of clinical microbiology, molecular biology, and computational genomics, within an international collaborative network.
