Complex data will be analysed using AI to facilitate the detection of early and subtle structural changes in amyloids.
The Polish part of the project includes the following tasks: spatial transcriptomics of brain samples in an Alzheimer’s disease model, in situ detection of selected miRNAs and their targets in an Alzheimer’s disease model, and bioinformatic analysis of the data.
Key responsibilities include:
The postdoctoral researcher is expected to independently plan and perform experiments, organise the experimental workflow, and participate in the scientific decision-making process.
• Performing spatial transcriptomics and RNA sequencing using NGS;
• In situ detection of selected miRNAs and their targets in an Alzheimer’s disease model;
• Managing project tasks to ensure their successful completion;
• Disseminating research results at project meetings, in peer-reviewed journals, and at international conferences;
• Co-supervising PhD and Master’s degree students;
• Providing support and supervision to junior members of the research group;
