Requirements:
- Master degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related fields
- PhD student status at Doctoral School or doctoral studies participant at the start date of the engagement
- Experience in DFT calculations and molecular dynamic simulations (at least 1 publication in this field)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Ability to work in a team
Research tasks:
- Investigation of the working mechanism of PET – derived MOF in OER by DFT calculation method
- Prediction of the best MOFs for OER through machine learning results
- Analysis of the experimental data
- Writing scientific papers

Warunki zatrudnienia:
Conditions of employment: Successful candidates will be granted doctoral scholarship of 3571,00 PLN/month before the mid-term evaluation and 5 501,00 PLN/month after mid-term evaluation. The doctoral scholarship will be awarded for 38 months in accordance with the National Science Centre (NCN) funding regulations, with the possibility of prolongation subject to an extension of the project duration and the availability of funds.
Dodatkowe informacje:We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who would like to work in the frame of OPUS 29 project "Recycle PET waste into MOFs for Robust Oxygen Evolution Reactions", under supervision of dr hab. Xuecheng Chen, prof. ZUT.
