Wymagania:
Requirements:
1) Master’s degree in microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or related field.
2) Hands-on experience with basic molecular biology techniques including Northern blotting and EMSAs.
3) Familiarity with bacterial culture techniques; experience with anaerobic microbiology is necessary.
4) Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
5) Ability to work collaboratively in a research team and support multiple projects simultaneously.
6) Good working knowledge of English and Polish is necessary.
The successful candidate will work in the area of molecular microbiology. The candidate will support the team throughout the duration of the appointment. In addition to specialized media preparation, maintaining anaerobic cultures and stocks, and managing lab inventory and reagent stocks, the specialist will assist with RNA extractions, routine molecular workflows, and culture-based phenotypic assays. This role is important for maintaining experimental continuity, especially during mutant construction and high-throughput transcriptomic experiments. The lab technician will also contribute to protocol standardization, equipment maintenance, and training new personnel.
