focuses on synergism between combinations of natural products/ bioactive plant extracts with standard antibiotic drugs. Drug combination is a novel strategy employed to control the spread of antibiotic resistance and to cure for serious infections thus both synergistic extract-extract and extract-antibiotic combinations may present a possible solution to combat antibiotic resistance.
