• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  My group has pioneered the development and application of glycan-focused machine learning and other bioinformatics methods. We are focusing on elucidating the functions of glycan sequences and predictively altering glycans to change the properties of biological systems. Part of our efforts have also been directed at analyzing the impact of bacterial glycan sequences, particularly capsular polysaccharides, on pathogenicity and antibiotic resistance.

  We would like to contribute our expertise in glycobiology and machine learning to a project working on combating antibiotic resistance. Feel free to reach out to discuss potential overlaps of interest.
