This is a match-making section for JPIAMR 13th call - One Health interventions to prevent or reduce the development and transmission of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
Environment
Antibiotics; water quality; environmental; modelling; wastewater
The main activities of the Laboratory are: - Development of a systemic approach to physical-chemical indicators and indices of ecological status of the environmental components, including water surface bodies, aquatic sediments, soil, biodiversity and atmospheric air; - Evaluation of the impact of antimicrobial substances on biochemical processes in water (nitrification, self-purification, eutrophication, etc.), as well in soil and sub aquatic sediments; - Assessment of the anthropogenic impact on environmental factors in a local and transboundary context.
We would like to join projects with AMR in the freshwater system, but anything which has environmental dynamics and modeling components of the freshwater system. We are particularly interested in modeling antibiotics loadings from human and animal to the aquatic environment and simulating various scenarios to understand the impact of possible interventions to control the development of AMR.
