• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  I have expertise in online professional learning. I have been leading research on the design and development of online modules and pathways to support the implementation of AMR surveillance systems in low to middle income countries as part of the UK Government Fleming Fund. A unique aspect of my work is in maximising the impact of learning on professional practice by providing guidance to key stakeholders, including policy makers, lab managers or team leaders. My research has identified a number of impediments that prevent professionals from applying the knowledge they learn to their work. This includes team formation, the need for new roles associated with AMR work, difficulties in dealing with data, problems with accessing equipment to learn practical skills.   I lead a research Lab at University College London, UK (the UCL Knowledge Lab) exploring the future of learning and communication with technology https://www.ucl.ac.uk/ioe/departments-and-centres/centres/ucl-knowledge-lab I would be interested to work within a consortium as a partner leading a package of work on professional learning.
