Currently I am working as Principal Scientific Officer/Incharge Bacteriology Lab in Animal Health Prgram, National Agricultural Research Centre, Islamabad, Pakistan. Basically I am a veterinarian with M.Sc Microbiology and PhD in Food Safety and Veterinary Public Health. I have an experience of working on projects realting to surveillance and molecular epidemiology of food safety and veterinary public health issues of One-Health significance such as Shiga Toxin-producing E. coli, Salmonella, ESBL E. coli, Antimicrobial Resistance and Brucellosis.
I am looking for project focusing on understanding the role of animals in transmission of AMR bacteria to humans and environment and how the role of animals can be minimize in spreading AMR
