MIcrofluidic microfabrication molecular biology cell biology
BFlow is the consequence of the translation of the research results from a multidisciplinary team (physicists, optical physicists, pharmacologist and biologist) from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. BFlow offers a full range of microfabrication and microfluidic solutions, from in silico flow modeling to high-tech manufacturing. The combination of these techniques and knowledge enables the development of advanced cellular and molecular biology assays oriented to drug discovery and preclinical assays.
Our solutions can be applied to create miniaturized devices for the detection of antibiotic resistance or the analysis of resistant organisms. We have experience with solutions applied to cardiology and oncology, but our devices can be adapted to different clinical areas, such as clinical microbiology. In addition to physicians, our partners could be pharmaceutical companies seeking better drug discovery and preclinical studies.
