Expertise in basic research into phage therapy with clinical focus. Collection of phages targeting S. aureus, S. epidermidis, P. aeruginosa, E. faecalis, E. coli, and large biobank of clinical antibiotic resistant strains. Studies of synergistic combinations of conventional antibiotics with phages. In recent years, several patients with highly resistant pathogens have been treated by phage therapy in our clinical department.
Any project interested in the application of bacteriophages on different One-Health areas with a focus on the control of antibiotic resistance.
