We are a Cross-disciplinary team of Microbiologists, Veterinary doctors, phytopathologists and physicians, and epidemiologists based in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. We are looking to address the burden of AMR in Burkina Faso. We are planning through bacteriological surveillance, practices in agriculture and farming as well as hospital practices putting all together in an OneHealth approach. We particularly interested in evaluating the burden of pathogens that are not under surveillance, nor research in clinical practice in Burkina Faso, an example is Campylobacter. We have experience in Mycobacterium surveillance and resistance trends, Viral hemorrhagic fevers, enterobacteria, and parasites diagnostic and disease burdens.
We are interested in projects that are looking for AMR in the animal, environment, and human interfaces. We are particularly interested in investigating the burden of pathogens that are not under surveillance in Burkina Faso. We are finally interested in evaluating alternatives to antibiotics in farming.
