metagenomics bioinformatics aerosoles wastewater antibiotics resistance genes
Our group has experience in metagenomics focusing on the characterization and analysis of the microbiome of various environments (wastewater, dust, human), especially ARGs. We have experience in the analysis of data from high-throughput sequencing (metagenome, plasmidome, and antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains). We conduct comprehensive analyzes, from sampling to sequencing, to the identification of taxa, through the characterization of the microbial community, to comparative analyzes, correlation analyzes, and the identification and determination of the abundance and diversity of ARGs and integrons.
We would like to join a strong consortium focused on the ARGs spread in different environments, identification of factors that drive this phenomenon, or looking for measures how to limit ARGs spreading.
