genomics; molecular biology; computational biology; bioinformatics; machine learning
I develop and apply state-of-art statistical and machine learning methods for molecular and biomedical data. With a background in biomedical engineering (BSE, Duke University) and quantitative and computational biology (Ph.D./M.A., Princeton University), I have a wide range of expertises related to rigorous analysis of data.
I am interested in contributing towards computational approaches to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In particular, genomics and other molecular biology plays a critical role in AMR. Therefore, I foresee statistics and machine learning are needed to better analyze and interpret large datasets coming out of experimental and observational studies.
