• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  Phenotypic and genotypic testing. I investigate AMR in humans, and the environment. Knowledge of culturing techniques, Antimicrobial susceptibility testing, Detection of antimicrobial resistant gene, sampling techniques. I would love to work with partners skilled in the use of metagenomics to understand the mechanisms underlying the evolution of AMR in  the environment, and the development of a tool for rapid profiling of AMR.

• Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

  I would like to join a project 1) which aims to control the development and transmission of antibiotic resistance design with novel methods 2) I would like to join projects that aim to assess existing interventions/develop and implement innovative interventions to reduce the likelihood of emerging AMR from the environment and minimise spreading of AMR from environment to human.
