My recent work on AMR focused on the level of antibiotic resistance between the critically endangered black rhinoceros and humans in Lambwe Valley, Kenya. This work was published in EcoHealth 17(1), 41-51. The work also received a bit of media mention in Reuters, https://uk.reuters.com/article/instant-article/idUKKBN2051G7, among others. I am looking for and quite excited about expertise on how to track transmission pathways of resistance genes and surveillance of AMR at the community level so as to better understand AMR at the human-wildlife interface and its implications to human and wildlife health.
I am seeking to join a research project on the role of anti-microbal agents at the human-wildlife interface and implications human and wildlife health.
