Institute of Legal, Political and Sociological Research (ILPRS) is one of the leading academic and research centres in Republic of Moldova in such fields as legal studies, political sciences, strategic studies, international relation theories, European studies, security research, sociological investigations. Also, the historical perspective on political, social and legal processes is widely used by ILPRS researchers in their investigation work. ILPRS activates almost 30 years since the reorganization of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova after proclamation of independence of the country in 1991. Main interest of the integrated and multidisciplinary research team of ILPRS is the investigation on the processes of institutional modernization, transition from totalitarian regime to democracy, and the European integration of Republic of Moldova, its societal, political, legal and social-psychological evolution. Participation of Republic of Moldova in the Eastern Partnership initiative of European Union became in the last 10 years an important civilizational and security challenge for Republic of Moldova, especially in the context of increasing vulnerability and destabilization in the East European Region, caused by the military conflict in Ukraine, at the border of the EU and of Republic of Moldova. Research conducted by ILPRS representatives has addressed broader aspects of the transition from totalitarianism to democracy, revealing important aspects of memorial societal memory in the context of important geopolitical movements in the East-European region. Contemporary social - political system of Republic of Moldova, the development of political pluralism and civil society were approached in light of the main contemporary scientific sociological, political, legal and historical theories and social-political ideologies. The most constant scientific concerns of the research teams of ILPRS were the investigational issues carried out in national security field, in sociology, in political and legal sciences. The results of these investigations were presented in numerous publications (monographs, studies, articles in collections and journals), conferences, colloquia and symposia with national and international character, organized by the Institute and in collaboration with foreign partners.
We intend to join a consortium which is interested in preparing a project proposal connected to Open Arts, Open Science, Bioethics, Bioarts, or Biolaw in the way to prevent or reduce the development and transmission of antimicrobial resistance.
