  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    We are experts in the development of liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) methods for use in clinical diagnostics. One area of interest is the therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of antibiotics in critically ill patients. With our scientific partners we apply pharmacometrics to improve pharmacotherapy.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    We are looking for clinical partners (preferably university hospitals or academic teaching hospitals) who can provide blood samples from critically ill patients (e.g. in intensive care units) for the TDM of watch and reserve antibiotics (2021 AWaRe classification list). Our aim is to assess the appropriateness of drug dosages in terms of resistance suppression and to improve antibiotic treatment.
