    AMR pollution; livestock; environment: crops

  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    Require interested partners for collaboration

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

A key knowledge gap in the One Health approach to AMR is the transmission pathways of AMR between animals and the environment in which we grow our food. Here we propose to adopt a systems approach to follow the flow of AMR within and from agricultural livestock species (pigs, beef and poultry) into the linked environmental niches (soil, vegetation, wildlife and water courses) in order to understand the transmission dynamics and the dissemination patterns of AMR gene pollution.
