    The Antimicrobial stewardship unit was created at our institution for optimizing clinical diagnostic and therapeutic work-up. Areas of expertise are the field of bacterial bloodstream infections, urological and post-surgical infections, prosthetic joint infections and diabetic foot infections. Our team applies the expertise to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) management in different populations, for both hospitalized patients and patients attending long-term care facilities.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    Our team would like to join multi-centric projects on AMR, in particular we are looking for projects that may improve the clinical diagnostic pathways and therapeutic management of infection in high-risk settings for the development of antimicrobial resistance.
