• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  Working from nearly 20 years in the Department of Veterinary Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural University of Tirana my research focus has been the identification of virulence factors and antimicrobial resistance in different bacterial strains mayor cause of infectious diseases in industrial breaded animals/poultry for human consumption (meat and eggs). Evidence of all reasons to therapy failure in determining the useful antimicrobials, their right administration and recommending alternative therapy measures (anti virulent therapies and/or essential oils or medicinal plants) to safer animal origin products, due to lower the veterinary drug residues and less spread of antimicrobial resistant strains in public health. The collaboration will not only help me in expanding my network toward ONE HEALTH approach, but will also give hints and information on the most used and antimicrobial traits in the veterinary field. It will be also important, in collaborating and findings of similarities of antimicrobial resistant strains in all the production chain of animal origin products, to prevent the spread of thus strains and to draw common road maps of control and scientific publications.

  I am available to share data and strains for further analazis and comparision. I can collaborate also with other partecipants from Albania, if needed
