    Our area of research is the antibacterial and inhibitory activity against quorum sensing and the biofilm formation process by essential oils from ten aromatic plants grown in Calabria (Italy), used routinely to impart aroma and taste to food. These studies are being conducted on Escherichia coli and their antibiotic-resistant, Chromobacterium violaceum, Enterococcus faecalis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In addition, we recently published a paper reporting the transcriptomic profiles of Escherichia coli cells characterized by adaptive antibiotic resistance

    We are looking for projects that aim to achieve the identification of novel molecules and their application in the clinical field
