    Trained synthetic polymer chemist and materials scientist with strong experience in developing novel antimicrobial compounds (agents and adjuvants) and materials (bulk materials - gels; and thin films/coatings). My group is currently developing novel responsive compounds and materials that can be activated on demand for targeted and safe antimicrobial applications. The chemistries employed in our group could be extened to sensing/diagnostic purposes.

    Looking for projects that utilizes enzyme responsive and/or photo responsive chemistries (self immolative linkers in general) as a means to sense the presence of bacteria
