• Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

  We have expertise in constructing protein biosensors for detection of ions, small molecules and proteins. Such biosensors have been sued successfully to build prototypes of POC devices and are currently undergo clinical validation for laboratory based diagnostics. Our approach allow ultrasensitive detection of antibiotics or their degradation products. The latter is being applied to detection of AMR organisms capable of antibiotic activation. Application to organisms with resistance to b-lactam antibiotics is the most obvious starting point.
